Tit-shift maker- interesting photos.

literary scrapbook online from read write and think, used as a new presentation for book reports
i have started a voice thread and i would like to finish it this time by adding voice. i would also like to use the pictures and try a different digital storyboard. i worked on meet the author, used the phone to record, i guess you can only do it once and then they charge you. i have uploaded current pictures and i will continue with it.
scrapblog lot of options, loads of time to do.
here is an example

37 things: Photo tales
i set up a flickr account in the first 23 things. i paid the extra fees so i could set up more sets and add pictures. since there are so many free sites i decided not to continue. i was worried about loosing my pictures since i set up all my pictures on the site
i am also using picaso on my school computer and i am sure i have hardly scratched the surface of what it can do.
i think the picto builder is interesting. works directly with flickr and picaso.
while i can't figure out how to show the slide show, i can show one picture.

36 thing: comic relief
i can see using wordle as a fun way to post share my summer reading books.
we use a citation machine for bibliography, i do hate the advertising on them.
on signs and labels i used tiny tags, cute but i can hardly read it. it would be great to print them out.
i like the historic tale construction kit. i can see 6th grade using this or 7th grade.
what do i look like in the dewey system

35 things:Books
Now we are talking about something i love....
i started with library thing and moved to Shelfari, which i still use. i have also embedded shelfari on my home page for school. i have friends that use goodreads and i am looking at the differences. what i can tell so far is that it is an individual preference. you can use many features or only a few. Shelfari meets my needs for now.
Took a look at the other sites, nothing exciting.
i love listening to books on tape, but reading a book on my phone does not interest me at all. The print is so small.
i liked the idea behind the one minute critic, for video book reviews

34 things: Online Answer Sites
All i can say is i am glad i am not a reference librarian, i am all about reading. There is so much to think about here. How are we going to deliver information to students.....
i am going to look into several question and answer sites. the first is ChaCha. while on vacation the younger generation talked about this site. Never heard of it. i sent a text to chacha and received two immediate text messages, one welcome, how to start and stop and another promoting a ringtone from a question i asked. the answer came within 4 minutes and another for other promotions.

some of the other sites are asking questions about daily life issues, can i transfer a vcr to dvd???
we still need to teach kids to ask inquiry questions and keywords to get the best answers.

33 things on a stick: travel
as i am getting ready to leave tomorrow, July 2nd for Peru i thought i would comment on a few sites i have used in the planning process.
we used tripadvisor frequently. i liked the fact that the posts are by other travelers and i would value opinions of those on the road. i will have to comment when we get back on how accommodations turned out and make it a point to put our opinions out there also.
i am going to try mapvivo. since i have been working on google maps i like the feature of seeing where i am going.
