47 things: evaluation

i have always enjoyed doing the online class. here are some thoughts
1. it takes so much time to look at everything
2. i would have like to have spent more time on some areas and not feel like if i didn't finish i wouldn't get the stipend.
3. when you get stuck on something i don't think there are enough resources to resolve the issues or i would have liked more discussion on topics. (i suppose i should have communicated more with colleagues but that didn't happen) i didn't notice that many people were working on it.
4.i do believe it's a very useful way to keep updated on what is available to us.

i signed up for an account.
i thought the courses looked interesting and it might be something i would like to do later since it is free to members.
not sure i would use the web page.

45 things: cloud computing

apparently i have been in the clouds and didn't know the correct terminology.
i have been using google apps for the last year and looking forward to taking a two day workshop this week. i loved the social bookmarking sites, delicious and diigo, facebook, flickr, wiki's and calendars just to name a few. what i would love to do it log into the server at school so i can access my files at home, i have not been able to do that yet.

with my iphone i signed up for the mobile me account to see how i can use it. so far i never use it, i did post pictures and shared those but otherwise nothing else.

44 things: economy

i think the websites they mention are great for students in econ.

i have online banking and manage account through the banking website. i looked at mint.com but didn't like that they asked for my ssn for the bank.

43 things: online tv and video

while hiking the inca trail i learned so much. one was the use of chacha and the other was hulu.
i signed up for an account at hulu and found the movie last of the Mohicans. i will have to look up all my favorite movies that i have in video.

42 things: music

i love listening to pandora and i use itunes music selections.
